The location was really good, right in the heart of everything, as noted. parking was surprisingly easy. I used the meter, paying £2.50 every four hours and parked very close. the accommodation was very clean, and the staff were helpful, which i appreciated. having the tea rooms downstairs was very convenient. Food was available from 9am to 5pm.
the stone stairs leading up to the room were a bit awkward. it wasn't ideal, especially with luggage.

i found the room to be really clean. tea, coffee, water and biscuits were complimentary, lovely (a very welcome touch). the room service was efficient, a special detail i appreciated.
the fire exit door in my room was a minor issue. the room was lit up neon green all night. i understand it's the law, but it did impact my sleep. the staff's limited working hours also presented a small challenge.

I found the room beautifully decorated. it had everything i needed. the tearooms downstairs were great! the hotel sits directly opposite the park and the opera house. This location was amazing.
the staff only work until 5pm, then return the following morning at 09.00am.
